A bizarre amalgam of old-and-new turned out to be Bill & Bob's final single. 'Falling In Love' was Pippen's first ever song, penned circa 1967, he explained in 2003: "I found a demo of me singing this song on reel-to-reel. Both Bob and I loved its vintage sound - it was in no way a great song but the home demo gave it this eerie ageless charm - somewhat helped by my youthful angelic voice I must say! I posted it off for [my brother] to hear and forgot all about it. Anyhow, in 2001 when we were compiling material for a new Bill and Bob single this track sprang to mind as something we could use. Turned out the reels had been water-damaged in transit before reaching [my brother] who then sat down to listen only for his tape player to violently burst into flame, swiftly obliterating both my sixties demo and his front parlour! Recording the track during the Sheep Alert sessions we did our best to recreate the vibe of that original demo using a load of modern studio wizardry, it sounds similar I have to say."
