Bill & Bob's first single in six years couldn't be more different to its predecessor. The duo's acrimonious split in 1986 had resulted in a creative low for Heart with Pippen suffering complete mental breakdown, not aided by multiple drug addiction. Their reunion was a healthy revival for both, resulting in 1991's successful Price To Pay album however when the ensuing tour was cancelled for obscenity, Pippen hit rock bottom once again. The emotive 'My Home Is My Jail' encapsulates a reclusive Bill's desire for forgiveness from his wrongdoings and thematically would evolve into the Coming Clean Suite from the duos next album. Heart outspokenly despises the song - at the time referring to it as "poorly produced drivel" - often refusing to play it live on proceeding tours.
